- All Atwitter About the Northwest STEM Region

The Northwest STEM Region has joined the growing number of entities nationwide that are using a popular tool, Twitter (http://www.twitter.com), to broadcast news to interested individuals. Specifically, regional updates will be provided to followers.

Twitter's Web site describes itself as such: "Twitter is a service for friends, family and co-workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?"

The short, 140-character messages sent through Twitter are known as Tweets, and they are as immediate as instant messaging. Regional members will post updates, called Tweets, on Twitter so interested Twitter users can track the news. If you are a Twitter user, consider following the Northwest STEM Region using the name NWRegSTEM to receive updates.
